Students in Uttarakhand’s grades 11 and 12 will now receive the necessary paperwork from the school before taking competitive examinations. On Monday, the state administration requested that all necessary documents, including caste certificates, evidence of residency, and other credentials, be provided at the school level itself.
The campaign was launched as part of the “Apno School Apno Praman” effort.
The directives were sent to all district magistrates with the intention of making it simpler for students who have trouble obtaining these papers. The chief education officer will serve on district-level committees that meet regularly to supervise the programme. These committees will be led by the district magistrates.

The committee will determine how many students are enrolled in classes XI and XII. A committee led by the deputy collector would produce a date-based roster for teams of local authorities, including the patwari, lekhpal, kanungo, and data entry operator, to visit the schools at the tehsil (block) level.
The timeframe for the process of granting residency, character, income, and mountain certifications, among other papers, will be determined in order to create an action plan, according to Shailesh Bagauli.
