Sex Racket Busted in a House in Uttarakhand: Three Arrested in Rudrapur

Rudrapur: In a significant operation, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit busted a sex racket running in a house in the Awas Vikas area of Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar. During the raid, one man and two women were arrested, and a case was registered against them under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

Action Based on a Tip-Off

According to reports, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit received a tip-off about illegal activities taking place in a house in Sai Collection Lane of the Awas Vikas area. Acting on the information, SSP Manikant Mishra directed a raid led by Inspector Jeeton Kamboj.

Case Filed Against the Accused

During the raid, the team apprehended one man and two women. A case has been registered against them under sections 143 B.N., S. of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4/5/6/7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

Team Members Involved in the Raid

The operation was carried out by a team led by Inspector Jeeton Kamboj, along with Head Constable Subhash Chandra, Women Constables Mamta Mehra and Priyanka Arya, Sub-Inspector Ganesh Pandey, and Constable Anil Kumar.

The police have initiated further investigation into the matter and are probing the accused’s network and potential connections.
