Dehradun News: Horrific Collision Between Truck and Innova, 6 Students Tragically Killed

In a tragic road accident in Dehradun, six people lost their lives, while one was seriously injured in a violent collision between a truck and an Innova car. The victims were students, and the truck driver fled the scene. The incident occurred late last night, around 2 AM, at the ONGC Chowk in Dehradun. The crash was so severe that the car was completely destroyed.

Upon receiving the news of the accident, the police rushed to the site, and six student bodies were recovered from the wreckage. Five of the deceased were sent to Doon Hospital, and one body was sent to Mahant Indresh Hospital. One student who was injured is currently undergoing treatment. Of the five bodies sent to Doon Hospital, two were girls and three were boys. Due to space constraints at Doon Hospital, three bodies were sent to Indresh Hospital in Dehradun.

Possibly Students from Himachal and Delhi

It is reported that seven students were in the Innova car at the time of the accident, including both boys and girls. Some of them were from Himachal Pradesh, while others were from Delhi. The truck driver fled the scene, and the police are searching for him. Upon learning of the incident, the SSP of Dehradun also visited the hospitals. The authorities informed the media that the victims are believed to be students from Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, who were likely in Dehradun for sightseeing

  2. Kunal, age 23, currently residing in Rajendra Nagar, originally from Chamba, Himachal Pradesh.
  3. Navya Goyal, age 23, resident of Tilak Road, Dehradun.
  4. Atul Agarwal, age 24, resident of Kalidas Road.
  5. Kamaksha, age 20, resident of Kanwali Road, Dehradun.
  6. Rishav Jain, resident of Rajpur Road.
  Meanwhile, Siddhesh Agarwal, age 25, is seriously injured.Details of the deceased and injured:

• Guneet, daughter of Tej Prakash Singh, age 19, resident of 10A Sai Lok, GMS Road, Dehradun (Deceased).
• Navya Goyal, daughter of Pallav Goyal, resident of 11 Anand Chowk, Tilak Road, age 23 (Deceased).
• Atul Agarwal, son of Sunil Agarwal, resident of Kalidas Road, age 24 (Deceased).
• Kamakshi, daughter of Tushar Singhal, resident of 55/1 Kanwali Road, Dehradun, age 20 (Deceased).
• Rishabh Jain, son of Tarun Jain, age 24, resident of Rajpur Road (Deceased).
