Reports indicate that the individuals detained by the police were plotting to obtain weapons from Pakistan, launch an assault on Salman Khan, and subsequently flee to Sri Lanka.

The Mumbai Police have arrested four individuals: Dhananjay, also known as Ajay Kashyap; Gaurav Bhatia, known as Nahvi; Waspi Khan, who goes by Wasim Chikna; and Rizwan Khan, also referred to as Javed Khan.

The police reported that the accused conducted reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s residence and farmhouse to execute the attack. Ajay Kashyap, the accused, made a video call to an individual named Dogar in Pakistan and arranged for weapons such as AK-47s to be delivered from the neighboring country.

The police received information that approximately 60 to 70 members of Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra’s gang, hailing from Mumbai, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Gujarat, are surveilling Salman Khan.

According to the statement issued by Navi Mumbai Police, the plan was to use minors to attack Salman Khan and then flee the country. The accused planned to escape India via boat to Sri Lanka from Tamil Nadu’s Kanniyakumari.

The incident occurred weeks after two individuals on a motorcycle fired several shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, the residence of Salman Khan. CCTV footage captured one of the assailants shooting in the direction of Khan’s house from outside the residential complex on April 14.

Two individuals, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended in Gujarat. It is suspected that they are connected to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Another suspect, Anuj Thapan, was taken into custody in April related to the case. Regrettably, Thapan passed away on May 1st in the toilet of the Mumbai police crime branch’s lock-up.
