Under the CM Parvatiya Nagar Vikas Yojana, two hill towns in Kumaon and Garhwal will be developed as model towns to boost tourism. Dhami said as he hoisted the national flag at the parade ground that the state government will prepare a detailed project report for the revival of traditional Haripur town on the banks of the Yamuna River. Dhami also recognized five police officers and personnel: SP Amit Srivastava, SP Rekha Yadav, ASP Sarita Dobhal, head constable Chaman Kumar, and Constable Dhirendra.

Dhami also awarded the CM Distinguished Service Medal to five police officers and personnel: SP Amit Srivastava, SP Rekha Yadav, ASP Sarita Dobhal, head constable Chaman Kumar, and Constable Dhirendra Singh Chauhan. During the event, he congratulated freedom fighters.
