Officials reported on Thursday that the Haryana Police had blocked 20,545 cellphone numbers obtained through falsified or false documentation.

According to a police official, Andhra Pradesh issued the majority of the blocked SIM cards, followed by West Bengal and Delhi.

A total of 34,000 cellphone numbers, including 40 hotspot villages in the Nuh region, had been found to be implicated in cyber fraud operating throughout the state.
